In RMS™ 12, Roxar Software Solutions delivers new features and enhancements to existing functionality throughout the application. Innovations at the heart of our software unleash your opportunities to work more efficiently and make better decisions more quickly.

RMS 12 includes powerful new tools and features incorporating the following:

• Substantial improvements to the Horizon Uncertainty Modeling job:o Horizon data algorithms and formats have been redesigned and now work on faulted horizons.o The Horizon Uncertainty Modeling job now takes faulted horizon models in the time or depth domain as input, and outputs an adjusted horizon model that can be used directly in further modeling (for example, to create a velocity model or a 3D grid), thus minimizing the steps in a Horizon Uncertainty Modeling workflow.

• The Horizon Uncertainty Modeling dialog box comes with a new user interface for improved usability.

• Spill Point Analysis has been implemented, and it is now possible to calculate the spill point for a horizon model.

• Big Loop Variables are a new way of adding uncertainties to properties in a Big Loop setting.

• RMS now supports the use of tables of corresponding name pairs to rename data on import and export, as well as renaming internal data.

• RESQML data transfer is now available in RMS.

• The Roxar API has been enhanced to allow users to automate the creation of integrated structural models with faults and horizons, create a 3D grid, and block wells.o A coordinate system can be created and transformed, views can be created, data can be visualized, and the color table can be updated.o Big Loop Variables are available with read-write access.
